How and why we use your information
We use your information to provide and manage your care and our services, including to:
- respond to enquiries and arrange appointments;
- assess your suitability for treatment and deliver it safely;
- arrange and report private blood screening through our partner laboratory;
- take payment and keep accurate clinical and business records;
- send appointment confirmations, reminders and aftercare information.
Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running the clinic; compliance with legal and professional obligations; and, for health information, your explicit consent and the provision of health care. Where we rely on consent (for example for marketing), you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where necessary, with: our booking and clinic-management platform (CallidusOS); our partner laboratory for blood screening; our payment provider; and, where relevant, prescribers, pharmacies, insurers, regulators or other healthcare professionals involved in your care. We require these partners to protect your information. We do not sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies and may use analytics and embedded content (such as Google Maps and our booking widget) to help the site work and to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep clinical and treatment records for as long as required by professional and legal guidance for healthcare providers (typically several years after your last treatment). Enquiry and marketing data is kept only as long as needed, or until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at info@inspiremedicalservices.co.uk.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
